Let’s share your story in BLOOM.

I first started arranging flowers in grade school. My mother was an occupational therapist at a local hospital, and she received flower donations from a grocery store. She taught patients how to arrange flowers into bouquets and would sometimes have leftovers from the glass vases. I would visit her at work and use those leftover flowers to make my own arrangements.

When I began gardening at home, I focused on growing cut flowers. I would make arrangements on Saturday mornings, and my children sold them at the end of our driveway. From there, friends and family began asking me to handle flowers for their events—weddings, banquets, graduations, birthdays, and everything in between.

I have two people who really inspired me to start my flower business: my mother-in-law, Diane, and my brother, Ryan.

My mother-in-law, Diane, was the most compassionate, hardworking, and God-fearing person I know. Her love of hospitality was evident in her daily life, and I strive to share her warmth and care with every arrangement I create. When you invite my flowers to your event, you are welcomed in the same spirit Diane extended to all who visited her home — valued, cared for, and treated as an honored guest. My hope is that every bouquet carries a piece of her kindness to your table and helps make your occasion feel truly special. Sadly, Diane has passed, but she would have loved that I started a business. She loved her monarch and hummingbird garden, so I included a hummingbird in my logo to honor her and to remind me to be as loving, humble, and hospitable as she was.

The other person is my brother Ryan, who died at 13 in 1991. He wanted my mom to own her own shop one day. His spirit never gave up on his dreams, even when things looked grim. He was wise beyond his years and had a faith that never ceased. Even though Ryan isn’t here, I often think about how he endured such a terrible disease and still wanted to make people smile. That same resilience guides me today, fueling my commitment to creating something special for each of you. I also included a dragonfly in my logo in his honor; it reminds me to always have faith and to never give up.

What makes me different is my signature "Nature’s Whimsy Finish" — an arrangement style that looks whimsical, flowy, and perfectly matched to the color palette you want. Each creation is carefully designed so others can see it and be reminded of you or the story you want to tell. I love adding bark, twigs, and herbs to bring the outdoors in. I also enjoy adding ribbon — whether it’s antique, velvet, or even a personal item you want included in the arrangement. When you request my Nature’s Whimsy Finish, you’re asking for a distinctive touch that ties organic beauty to the memories you wish to share. I believe you can tell your story through the arrangements I provide for your special event. Let me help you tell your story through flowers.
